Mice Removal

Mice may seem easy to deal with but failure to eradicate them from your home quickly will result in multiple mice. The birth rate for mice is every 3 weeks with up to 12 pups each litter.  After two months the female pups are able to start to add to the life cycle.

How mice get in your home in the first place is simple. They are able to squeeze through gaps of 7-8mm which means most homes have plenty of easy access.  Once in, mice can cause excessive damage as they can have multiple feeding spots.  They won’t just choose 1 kitchen cupboard to find food.   They will look for food everywhere.  Mice leave droppings everywhere they go and can do so up to 100 times a day.

When carrying out Mice Removal, we assess the existing damage, all points of entry and use a combination of traps & poison to eradicate the pests and installing preventative measures to stop the problem reoccurring in the future.

Things to keep in mind:
  1. If you think you only have one mouse in the house, think again. Very rarely are mice alone.
  2. Reason why “house mice” are called this is because once they are in your home, they don’t leave.
  3. Mice are great climbers, jumpers and swimmers.
  4. They can carry multiple types of diseases which can be transferred when they urinate or leave droppings.
  5. Prevention is cure.  Poisoning and trapping may only be a temporary fix.
